The Gibs of Earth Explained

Lets get it out of the way. I imagine many of you who read this initially wonder: What is a Gibs?

A Gibs (as shown on the right), is a circular blob with four stub arms, two ovular feet, and have a few quirks. For one, the entire species is obsessed with cheese. The other is that they have an infinitely long tongue. Gibs is the singular and Gibs' is the plural.
Their main areas of colonization are Atlantis and the underground Mount Euphrates. They are much more technologically advanced than humans as well. Well, that is where they live in Earth. Hence, Gibs of Earth. Mostly as a species, they live in the Andromeda Galaxy, but some of them were lost on Earth millions of years ago, in such a manner that is far too complex to be explained right now. Maybe later.
That is pretty much what a Gibs is. They have really no role in the blog except I like them and I'll mention them occasionally.
Now they're off to Gibbinate the Galaxy! (whatever that means; gibbinate is so far undefined in my mind).
